Glen Innes is set to come alive from 1–4 May 2025 with the return of the Australian Celtic Festival (ACF), celebrating the cultures of Brittany, Cornwall, and Wales. As one of Australia’s largest Celtic festivals, the event is expected to draw thousands of visitors eager to experience traditional music, dance, and heritage.
A Taste of Celtic Culture: The Australian Celtic Festival Celtic Food Trail
Local restaurants, cafés, and pubs are invited to take part in the ACF Celtic Food Trail by creating special menu items inspired by the cuisines of Brittany, Cornwall, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Scotland, and Wales. This initiative presents an opportunity for businesses to attract both visitors and locals seeking a unique dining experience in the lead-up to and during the festival.
Enhancing the Festival Atmosphere
To further embrace the Colours of the Highlands festival experience, businesses are encouraged to decorate their shopfronts in an autumn Celtic theme, incorporating warm hues, traditional patterns, and national symbols. Extended trading hours will also allow businesses to engage more with festival attendees and maximise potential sales.
Sponsorship Opportunities for Local Businesses
With thousands of attendees expected, the Australian Celtic Festival offers businesses a valuable platform for exposure. Sponsorship opportunities allow local enterprises to support the cultural celebration while directly connecting with a dedicated festival audience. Available sponsorships include:
