The 16th running of the Washpool World Heritage Trail Race is at the Washpool and Gibraltar Range National Parks in New South Wales on 22-23 March 2025.

The Washpool and Gibraltar Range National Parks have incredible variety, from world heritage listed rainforests to clear rivers flowing through flowering high country heathlands, dramatic granite outcrops and wild river gorges.

The area also features an extensive network of well formed trails to make it ideal trail running. Camping is available at four campgrounds, with Mulligans Hut Campground being the closest to the start line. Camping will need to be booked separately.

Changes to the 2025 event include the 50km Ultra now starting on Saturday 22nd March at 9:00am and 9km and 25km starting on Sunday 23rd March at 9:00am and 10:00am respectively.

This is a cup-free event – bring your own cup/water bottle for refilling at aid stations during the race.
