Under a cool November sky, a large and solemn gathering assembled at Anzac Park on Tuesday, 11 November, to commemorate Remembrance Day 2025. Ex-servicemen and women, students, cadets, dignitaries, and local residents gathered together in quiet reflection, united in honour of those who have served — and those who continue to serve — in defence of our nation. Remembrance Day 2024 Commemorations in Glen Innes

Glen Innes residents are invited to come together this Remembrance Day to honour the sacrifices of Australian servicemen and women. This year’s commemorative activities are set to take place on Monday, 11 November, with a traditional march and service to be held in the heart of Glen Innes. Veterans and other participants wishing to join the march are asked to assemble at 10.00 am on the southern side of Bourke Street, at the intersection with Grey Street. Glen Innes Remembrance Day March Road Closures

The following temporary road closures will be in place for the Glen Innes Remembrance Day March: Parallel parking on the south side of Bourke Street (from Grey Street to East Avenue) will be closed from approximately 7:00 am to 11:15 am to reserve an assembly area. Bourke Street west-bound (from Grey Street to East Avenue) will be closed from approximately 9:45 am to 11:15 am for March participants to assemble. Bourke Street (from East Avenue to West Avenue) will be closed from approximately 10:20 am to 11:00 am to allow the March to proceed under NSW Police escort to ANZAC Park.
