The BreastScreen NSW mobile clinic is currently stationed in the public car park behind Glen Innes Town Hall, Sommerlad Lane, and will remain there until Wednesday 25 February 2026, offering free breast screening to eligible women. Rebecca Delaporte, Manager of BreastScreen NSW Hunter New England, says regular screening is one of the most effective ways women can protect their health. Early detection of breast cancer significantly improves survival rates and can reduce the need for invasive treatments such as mastectomy or chemotherapy.
