RFS Volunteers: seen locally, nationally and internationally
The past 12 months have been a significant and demanding year for our volunteers within Glen Innes Severn RFS, both locally and further afield. Throughout our 15 brigades within Glen Innes Severn, our members have responded to grass fires, bushfires, structure fires and motor vehicle accidents, while also carrying out hazard reduction activities aimed at protecting homes, farms and critical infrastructure. Behind every callout are hours of training, equipment maintenance, and preparation to ensure crews are ready when needed.
