Each January, the Glen Innes Racecourse springs to life, drawing enthusiastic crowds from the New England Tablelands and far beyond. The Glen Innes Races are a true summer highlight, combining the charm of the countryside with vibrant fashion, thrilling racing action, and family-friendly entertainment. Kids can look forward to activities such as a Jumping Castle and Face Painting, ensuring fun for all ages.

The racecourse itself boasts a meticulously maintained track, attracting strong racing fields from both New South Wales and Queensland. Attendees can savour live entertainment throughout the day, participate in the renowned Fashions on the Field contest, and enjoy full TAB and Bookmaker facilities. The day is celebrated for its unique community spirit and unforgettable atmosphere.

Gates open at 11.30am with an action packed six race programme.

This year’s theme, Summer Elegance, invites guests to honour the glamour and creativity of country race days. Fantastic prizes will be awarded as participants showcase their finest race-day attire.

Nominations for Fashions on the Field are accepted on the day, so be sure to come dressed to impress and ready to step out in style.
