Three community projects in the Glen Innes Severn area have been awarded funding in the latest round of the New South Wales Government’s Community Building Partnership program.
Administered by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, the program supports community infrastructure projects that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational benefits, while encouraging participation, inclusion and cohesion.
The Glen Innes and District Community Centre will receive $51,571 to refurbish its community kitchen. The Emmaville Golf Club has been awarded $35,090 for facility upgrades and repairs. The Glen Innes Mineral and Gem Club will receive $28,973 to install air conditioning in its hall and resurface the floor.
Under the program guidelines, all funded projects must be completed by 3 August 2026.
