Emmaville Event Honours Staff and Opens New Ramp
The Vegetable Creek MPS Emmaville Hospital Auxiliary has officially unveiled a new access ramp at “The Cottage” building, marking the completion of a three-year fundraising effort that raised $25,000 for the local health facility. The new ramp, officially opened on Tuesday 5 August, will allow patients of Vegetable Creek Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) to more easily access the building and enjoy recreational activities away from the standard hospital environment. Importantly, the ramp is designed to accommodate not only wheelchair and walker users, but also patients in hospital beds.
