Wednesday Mens
22 men played a Stableford on Wednesday with the winner Glenn Bennett with 40 points from Duncan Hutchison with 38 points, welcome back Duncan. Nearest the pins were Danny Lightfoot on the 4th, Craig Dawson the 7th, Brian Paine the 12th, Terry Watters the 14th and Andrew McGovern on the 17th.
Veterans Golf
27 veterans played the Monthly Medal on Thursday. Winner was Farley Sherrott with 68 from Brian Paine with 69. Nearest the pin winners were John Stewart the on the 4th and the Pro Pin on the 12th went to Brian Paine, putting also went to Brian with 27 putts.
A reminder that Vets subs are now due, $12. Thursday will be the final of the monthly medallist’s whist the remainder of players will compete in a Stableford.
Friday 9 Hole Comp
10 players played the Friday comp on the front 9 with the winner Julie Dunn on 20 points from Robert Every with 19.
Saturday Golf
34 players played a stroke event for the monthly medal with the winner Gary Cameron with the excellent score of 62, which would have to be the round of the week 2nd was Terry Watters on a count back from Jake Every with 69. The Pro Pin was on the 17th and went to Glenn Bennett, the 4th went to Mick Grob, 7th went to Duncan Hutchison, 12th and 14th to Gary Cameron.
Sunday Golf
Sunday was a medley Stableford with the winner, to prove Saturday was no fluke, Gary Cameron with 39 points. Looking like cheap membership for 2025 Gary! Runner up was Andrew McGovern with 38 points from Greg Law. Nearest the pins were Pro Pin on the 4th Robert Every, the 7th Brian Paine, 12th Andrew McGovern, and the 14th and the 17th to Peter Lawson.
