Wednesday January 1st Medley Stableford: A great field of 56 players competed in the Stableford event on Wednesday. Winner was Terry Watters with 40 points from Jason Duffell with 38. Best placed lady golfer was Kim Hutton with 35 points.
Thursday January 2nd: 19 players. Winner was Rod Kiehne with 37 points from Peter Tough 35 points on a count back from Dennis Brown and Kim Hutton. Prior to Christmas12 veterans battled out the overall monthly medal title. Winner was Craig Hulls with 68 in the stroke event from playing partner Ian Swanston with a 70 then 3rd Dougy Stevenson with 73. The President’s Award from John Matthewson was presented to hard working club secretary Al Collins.
Friday January 3rd 9 Hole Comp: 17 players on the front 9 and the winner was Kerrie Foster from the Kurrie Golf Club from Noah Every with 19 points.
Saturday January 4th Stroke: Saturday was the January Monthly Medal with 45 players competing. Winner was Craig Dawson with 69 from Tim Penn with a 70 on a count back from Greg Law. The Pro Pin on the 17th went to Kim Hutton, Tim Penn on the 4th, Noah Every the 7th, Jason Duffell the 12th and Gary Hutton the17th.
Sunday January 5th Medley: Sunday was a medley Stableford with 51 players competing. The winner was Pru Newby with 39 points from Bobby Gallagher with 38 points.
