Weekly Golf Wrap Week
Congratulations to our green keepers Zac & Lucas as the course looks fantastic. Also, a special mention to all the volunteers doing their bit around the course!
Ladies Golf 14 ladies played a stableford with the winner Lindy Newsome with
37 points from Pru Newby with 36. The ladies have their 2-day tournament on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th February. Should be some great results to report next week with over 100 players registered.

Wednesday Mens A good field of 29 played the Wednesday stableford with the winner Gareth Law with the great score of 45 second was Gary Cameron who probably thought he had it wrapped up with the good score of 40 points!
Nearest the pins were Matt McHarg on the 4th, the Pro Pin, Peter Dunn the 7th, Glenn Bennett the 12th, Matt McHarg the 14th and John Matthewson the on the 17th.

Veterans Golf Thursday was the second round of the monthly medal with a good field of 25 players. Finally breaking through for a well-deserved win was Jo Fairclough with a 64 on a countback from Gordon Wollen also with a 64. Nearest the pins went to Al Collins on the 4th and the pro Pin on the 12th to Jimmy Adams. Roy Matthews won the Super 6 and Ray Smith the members draw.

Friday 9 Hole Competition With the Show weekend (and the chipping comp going off!) a smaller field of 7 players played the back 9. Winner was Steve Zahn with 20 points from Bernie Miller with 19 points.

Saturday Golf A field of 22 players competed medley stableford on Saturday. Backing up his Friday win was Steve Zahn with 37 points from Reilly Carroll, Noosa Golf Club, with 36. The Pro Pin on the 12th went to Dan Grosse, Terry Watters the 4th and Reg Walls the 17th . There was no one on the 7th or the 14th .

Sunday Golf With the threat of wet weather over the weekend only 5 ladies played the Sunday stableford. Winner was Bernie Miller with 33 points from Kim Hutton with a 31. 16 men played the stableford with the winner Reg Walls with 40 points from Colin Brooke with 38 points on a count back from Craig Dawson and Jim Adams. In a great day out for Andrew McGovern he picked up the nearest the pins for the 4th, 12th and the 17th unfortunately he couldn’t pick up the Pro Pin on the 7th which went to Doc Correy, Mick Key picked up the 14th.

Coming Up Plenty of news to report over the next couple of weeks with Ladies 2-day tournament, overall winner of the club monthly medal, Vets Pennants update and Open results and 2 day Mens competition.
