Tennis might be a summer sport but the Glen Innes & District Tennis Association is still very active over the winter months. Junior Hot Shots sessions are well underway for Term 2 – new players are always welcome so contact the club for more information about Junior programmes. Social tennis continues on Tuesday mornings from 9am and Saturday afternoons from 1pm – great tennis with a very friendly vibe with players of all abilities welcome.
There are lots of exciting things planned for this year. The 2nd Seniors Tournament will be held in November – the inaugural event last year was a great success so this one will be even better. Night competitions will resume in the Spring so stay tuned for announcements on these.
Club memberships run over the financial year and are open now for 2026-27. The club will be holding the AGM on Saturday 13th June after the social tennis session. All members are encouraged to attend – the club depends on member support so please turn up and get involved where possible. The AGM will start at 4pm to elect the committee for the upcoming year and decide membership/court hire costs so input from club members is very welcome.
