Ashton's Circus will be at the Glen Innes Showgrounds on the 6th, 7th and 8th of June. Ashton's Circus is Australia’s oldest circus family, and with a history spanning 174 years, they are truly adept at showcasing their circus skills. Currently Ashton's has three different shows touring Australia. The one coming to Glen Innes is headed by seventh generation circus performer, Chantel Ashton-Rodriguez. Chantel states that the show will provide a variety of circus skills, including aerial displays and ground based performances (e.g hula hoop). The circus is currently setting up camp at the Glen Innes Showground, with a string of exciting shows just around the corner. However, the excitement of their arrival was dampened last night.
