Glen Innes locals aren’t quite done with swimming season yet, with Council confirming an extension for the Glen Innes Aquatic Centre into April. Instead of closing at the end of March, the pool will remain open until Sunday 19 April 2026, giving residents a few extra weeks to squeeze in a swim as the weather begins to cool. To make the most of the autumn sunshine, opening hours will shift to the warmest part of the day, with the centre open daily from 11am to 4pm.
