Top of the Range Murray Grey Sale
Despite challenging seasonal conditions across the Glen Innes district, the annual Top of the Range Sale delivered a strong result, highlighting continued confidence in the region's cattle industry. Twenty-four of the 30 bulls offered were sold, reaching a top price of $11,000 on two occasions and averaging $6,500. In the stud female section, 14 of 17 lots sold to a top of $4,000, averaging $2,732, while commercial females reached $2,950. The Mike Trayner Trophy was awarded to Lot 35, Dehavalyn Whittingham, (shown above) which shared the equal top bull price.
