Nominations are now open for the 2025 Australia Day Awards. Each year the Glen Innes Severn Council Australia Day Committee proudly presents several awards at an Australia Day ceremony to recognise the voluntary achievements of fellow citizens, community groups and community events by acknowledging their outstanding contribution to our community through service or community work, or through individual dedication and contribution to a particular group or the whole community, during any period of time. Glen Innes Severn Council is excited to invite residents to have their say on the establishment of a new fully fenced off-leash dog park in Glen Innes. Council has identified Lions Park as the proposed location for the park and is seeking valuable community input to help finalise the decision.
