If you’re at all interested in reading or writing, you may be interested in the High Country Book Club, or the High Country Writer’s Club which currently run out of the Maker’s Shed in Deepwater. They both operate on the third Saturday of the month.  The Book Club goes from 10-12 and each month a different designated book is discussed and reviewed.  The Writer’s Group goes from 1-3 and a lively discussion ensues about people’s writing, with lashings of encouragement.  Some people attend both groups and feel they complement each other. Global solar business ib vogt has held the first round of community information sessions for the proposed solar farm north of Deepwater. Senior Development Manager, Terry Daly, led discussion about the project, outlining the scope and design as well as fielding questions from local residents.
