WHAT A DAY! What a day indeed! New England Heritage Traction Club held their first Open Day for the Historic Glen Innes Brickworks. The public voiced their appreciation that ‘someone’ had finally taken on the project. Some attendees had worked there in the past eg; Mick, Keith, Vaughan, Mark, Rusty and Jim. John Marr was the previous licensee of the property and took guided tours. Belting Out Bricks video was viewed by many. New England Heritage Traction Club Visits Private “Museum”

The New England Heritage Traction Club supports the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of heritage machinery, including tractors, trucks, motorcycles and the like.  It holds monthly meetings at the meeting room of the Land of the Beardies Museum and also organises regular outings of interest for members. On Sunday, on one such outing, the group visited what could only be called a “tractor museum” out on the Inverell Road.  It was an amazing experience.
