Glen Innes will come alive with festive cheer this evening as Christmas in the Highlands takes over the heart of town from 5pm. The historic area in front of the Glen Innes Town Hall and along Grey Street will be transformed into a vibrant Christmas market, with local stallholders, artisans, and producers offering a wide range of unique gifts perfect for the holiday season as well as a jam-packed schedule of live entertainment.
This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring:

Expanded Festivities
The celebration will expand along Grey Street, stretching from Meade Street to Wentworth Street, providing even more space for the community to gather and enjoy the festivities.

Road Closures
Residents are advised that Grey Street, between Meade and Wentworth Streets, will be closed to traffic from 1pm today, Friday, 29 November 2024, to accommodate the event.
