The Glen Innes District Tennis Association has a jam-packed calendar for the rest of the year with something for everyone.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP: Memberships are now open for 2025/26 with online payments available at the website. It has been decided to keep all membership options at the same cost as last year. With full membership (adult, junior or family) including free daytime court hire, it makes tennis one of the best value sports in Glen Innes.
JUNIOR TOURNAMENT: The club is thrilled to announce that a JDS North West RMS round will be returning to Glen Innes on the 27th July. The Regional Matchplay Series (RMS) is an age-graded round robin singles tournament aimed at providing competitive match play opportunities for aspiring tennis players in the region. Entries are open now and close on the 21st July – all local juniors are encouraged to enter this fun event.
FUTURE EVENTS: The club is also planning to hold a seniors tournament later this year which will be open to players 35 years and over in a range of events. Social tennis on Tuesdays and Saturdays continue with night competitions planned to start when the weather warms up a bit. Court hire, social tennis and night comps are open to non-members but members benefit from discounted playing and court hire fees making it a great deal to join.
