The Glen Innes Red Cross has officially launched its 24th Annual Christmas Tree Exhibition at the Town Hall, and festive spirit is already filling the room. More than 50 trees are on display this year, each one an original, created by individuals, families, businesses, schools or community groups. The theme “Christmas Around the World” has inspired a wonderful mix of originality and artistry. Friends, family and Red Cross members packed into the cosy Crofters Cottage on Friday 15 August to celebrate Mrs Judy Vivers and her sixty years of service to the Australian Red Cross.
