Molly Chard: Lions Youth of the Year Zone Finalist

Glen Innes student Molly Chard has been named the winner of the Zone Final of the Lions Youth of the Year competition, held in Glen Innes on Sunday, 15 March. Molly, who is the 2026 Head Prefect at PLC Armidale, impressed judges across a demanding day of competition that tested leadership, communication skills and community awareness. The competition involved a particularly challenging series of back-to-back assessments. Molly first undertook a 40-minute panel interview, where students were questioned on topics including leadership, community involvement and current affairs.
