Skin Patrol was proud to attend the Glen Innes Show for the first time, delivering a dedicated community skin check clinic focused on early detection and accessible care. Across the weekend, 199 community members booked in for a comprehensive skin assessment, with 163 patients screened directly by our Skin Cancer Doctor. Our team saw more than 48 patients on Saturday, and Sunday was our largest clinic day with 58 patients. The strong turnout reflects the Glen Innes community’s proactive approach to skin health and the clear demand for specialist services in regional areas. New Playground Opens

Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan was on-hand to unveil the new, $1.2 million play space at Glen Innes’ Anzac Park at its official opening on Saturday, 7 February. $500,000 was secured from the NSW Government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund Round 5 which kick-started the project. Another $600,000 was contributed by the Federal Government and another $100,000 by the Glen Innes Severn Council. The new play area includes inclusive, imaginative, sensory, active, adventure and nature-based equipment. Glen Innes Touch Football’s “Huskies” will compete at the Northern Eagles Junior Championships (NEJC) in Coffs Harbour on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 February, with games held at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium and surrounding fields. The championships will bring together teams from more than 34 affiliates across Northern NSW, including the Mid North Coast, North Coast, Far North Coast and North West regions, across under-10 to under-18 boys and girls divisions.
