Emmaville Mining Museum Hours Change, A Callout For Volunteers

The Emmaville Mining Museum is a true gem (if you’ll pardon the pun) of the tourist experiences that are offered in the Glen Innes area. The dream of the late Mr and Mrs Jack Curnow, who bequeathed a vast mineral collection to the Emmaville community, was the hope of opening a museum in the town. These days the museum is also home to the Jillet, Gilbey, Ellis, Schumacher, Trethewey, Hermann and Maskey collections.
