Kindy 2025: A New Chapter Begins

Thursday 6th February 2025 was a momentous day for dozens of small children across the district, as they entered the world of big school for the first time with its promise of greater learning and lifelong friendships. With local schools ranging significantly in size, some children made up 50% of their two student Kindergarten class, while others in bigger schools joined one of two Kindergarten classes. Another Successful Year for Hellie’s Toy Drive

Members of the Glen Innes Highlands Lioness Lions Club have again been busy bringing joy to the lives of disadvantaged Glen Innes families. Coordinator, Lion Leonie Lee, organised collection boxes for donations of new toys and books. These were left at key points around Glen Innes, including Glen Innes West Infants School, Glen Innes Public School, Glen Innes High School, Carrells Toy Store and Services NSW.
