New England Police are investigating a collision between a utility vehicle and a cow on the New England Highway yesterday morning. Emergency services were called to the scene near Glencoe, south of Glen Innes, at approximately 6:30 am following reports that a utility had struck a cow. The driver, a 63-year-old man, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics. The cow was euthanised at the site of the incident. Senior Development Manager, Terry Daly, led discussion about the project, outlining the scope and design as well as fielding questions from local residents.
