GLENRAC welcomes funding for Innovative Farming Forecaster Project

GLENRAC Inc has welcomed the recent announcement of more than $1.7 million in funding for Landcare programs across the Northern Tablelands under the NSW Government’s Landcare Enabling Program. As part of this investment, the New England Landcare Network has secured $830,899 to deliver its regional project, “Towards informed, integrative land and water management,” with GLENRAC playing a key role in project delivery. Walkers Pass Through Glen Innes Severn on Journey to Myall Creek

A small group of four walkers passed through the northern reaches of the Glen Innes Severn region this week as part of a 474-kilometre commemorative journey from Ballina to Myall Creek. The walk, known as Walk 4 Stolen Children, Land & Lives, aims to raise awareness of Australia's frontier conflicts and to honour those affected by frontier war massacres during the colonial period. Lotus Roar at Lions Park

About 20 brave locals took on the cool breeze, to have their hearts warmed, as they met the Queensland Lotus Club. The club returned briefly to Glen Innes  for a 'pit stop' at Lions Park,  and parked along East Avenue. The group has been visiting our area since 2018. This year 73 proud owners and 40 vehicles toured the area from Glen Innes, Inverell, Emmaville and Tenterfield. Cars from 1960s to present were in this gathering.
