The old woolshed at Deepwater Station resonated with the sounds of classical music on Sunday 26 October before an audience of over 100 music lovers from across the New England. The concert was the New England Conservatorium of Music’s third and final event in its Homestead Series for 2025, after concerts held earlier in the year at Rosecroft and Waterloo Station. A Musical Afternoon at Rosecroft

On Sunday afternoon, 30th March, the New England Conservatorium of Music [NECOM] presented the first of three musical afternoons which form its Heritage Homestead Series 2025. Held in the old stables at Rosecroft, the home of Mike and Belinda Norton, the Homestead Series celebrates the architectural heritage of the Glen Innes district with concerts that feature musicians from the Conservatorium in Armidale. The musicians performing at Rosecroft were Hester Wright, soprano, Joanna Fairs-Wu, violin, Robert Manley, violoncello, and Matthew Ardern, harpsichord and pianoforte.
